TRTA offers a lot for a little. In addition to working for you in the Legislature, endorsed benefits and discounts are available to TRTA members.

All TRTA member benefits have been studied, recommended by the TRTA Member Benefits Committee and then adopted by the TRTA Board. Whether or not to use a benefit, is entirely up to you.

	*Insurance Benefits* Ameritas Group Dental Insurance The TRTA Board of Directors has endorsed a new TRTA "Members Only" group dental insurance plan available exclusively through Association Member Benefits Advisors (AMBA) and underwritten by Ameritas Group Dental Insurance. 	AARP Drivers Safety Program With 543 volunteer instructors throughout Texas, the AARP Driver Safety Program can provide local unit members a four-hour Driver Safety Course. The course is designed for drivers age 50 or older to learn ways to compensate for the effects of the passing years on eyesight, hearing and reflexes. The knowledge gained often enables older drivers to continue driving for years longer. TRTA members are charged $12 and $14 for non-members for the four hours of classroom instruction. Those who complete the course receive a certificate and may get a discount good for up to three years on their automobile insurance policies.
