Our local unit, McCulloch County Retired Teachers Association, is active and informed! We are involved in numerous activities that benefit our community. These annual events include awarding a scholarship for a teacher new to McCulloch County schools; giving a book to kindergarten students in each McCulloch County school district; hosting a brunch for the honor graduates from all three county high schools and offering encouragement to the active teachers in our county. You will make new friends and support worthwhile activities in our own community. You will play an active role in making the voice of retired Texas teachers heard by keeping informed on legislative matters concerning finances, health benefits and other issues regarding the well-being of the retired teachers of Texas.
We meet the second Tuesday of the month, September through May at 10 am at the Brady Housing Authority. Local dues for McCulloch Co. RTA are $10, in addition to state dues.
