Historia y Misi\u00f3n<\/div>
Fundada en 1953, la Asociaci\u00f3n de Maestros Jubilados de Texas (TRTA) es la asociaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s grande del pa\u00eds para maestros jubilados con un historial de participaci\u00f3n activa en el bienestar de sus comunidades.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Una historia de relaciones a nivel nacional y contribuciones a nivel estatal<\/h3>

En 1979, la Junta Ejecutiva de la TRTA autoriz\u00f3 el establecimiento de una oficina central en Austin y comenz\u00f3 a organizar el estado de Texas en veinte (20) distritos. La NRTA continu\u00f3 brindando orientaci\u00f3n y asistencia a los distritos y cap\u00edtulos locales a trav\u00e9s de los subdirectores estatales de la NRTA. La organizaci\u00f3n de los distritos de la TRTA se hizo cada vez m\u00e1s necesaria cuando se hizo evidente que la fusi\u00f3n con la Asociaci\u00f3n Estadounidense de Jubilados (AARP)<\/a> era la \u00fanica opci\u00f3n que ten\u00eda la NRTA para resolver sus problemas financieros, que resultaron de la construcci\u00f3n y mantenimiento de un gran complejo de retiro para maestros jubilados en California. Despu\u00e9s de la fusi\u00f3n, los distritos y cap\u00edtulos locales de la TRTA no pudieron depender tanto de la ayuda de la NRTA. La organizaci\u00f3n de los veinte distritos se complet\u00f3 en 1982, a\u00f1o en que NRTA se fusion\u00f3 con AARP para formar AARP\/NRTA. Despu\u00e9s de la fusi\u00f3n, los cap\u00edtulos locales de Texas comenzaron a buscar m\u00e1s directamente en los distritos de la TRTA liderazgo y direcci\u00f3n.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
