Retirees under-65 will be receiving healthcare from BlueCross BlueShield. Retirees over-65 will be receiving healthcare from United Healthcare.<\/p>\n<p>As a part of the transition to the new providers, TRS is distributing information about the plans. Expanded information is available on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trs.texas.gov\/Pages\/Homepage.aspx\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.trs.texas.gov\/Pages\/Homepage.aspx\">TRS website<\/a> y <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.trs.texas.gov\/Pages\/healthcare_news.aspx\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.trs.texas.gov\/Pages\/healthcare_news.aspx\">The Pulse <\/a><\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.trs.texas.gov\/Pages\/healthcare_news.aspx\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.trs.texas.gov\/Pages\/healthcare_news.aspx\">newsletter<\/a> regarding the changes, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trs.texas.gov\/Pages\/healthcare_news_202006_TRS-Care_changes.aspx\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.trs.texas.gov\/Pages\/healthcare_news_202006_TRS-Care_changes.aspx\">a schedule of important dates and online access to providers in the UHC network<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The transition to new TRS-Care vendors (BCBS and UHC) takes place on January 1, 2021.
