Members of the Texas Retired Teachers Association (TRTA), along with hundreds of thousands of Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) retirees, will be receiving a supplemental payment before the end of January 2022.<\/p>\n

This information is vital in letting our legislators know the important priorities of retirees who are living on fixed incomes!<\/p>\n TRTA wants everyone to know more about the role we play as an advocacy organization in helping secure victories like this supplemental payment. The simple fact is that we need more people to know who we are, what we do, and why we do this. Many of your fellow retirees do not know the inside story of how TRTA involvement helps protect and improve their retirement.<\/p>\n Don\u2019t forget to watch TRTA Executive Director Tim Lee this Friday, January 7 at 3:00 p.m., live on Facebook and YouTube as he discusses the forthcoming supplemental payments that TRTA won for TRS retirees during the special legislative session.<\/p>\n You won\u2019t want to miss this very special live video event!
