During the recent WEP\/GPO rally in Washington D.C., Schumer announced that he would bring the Social Security Fairness Act (HR 82\/S. 597) to the floor for a vote.<\/p>\n<p>The Texas Retired Teachers Association (TRTA) is calling on its members to <a href=\"https:\/\/trta.org\/es\/action-center\/?vvsrc=%2fCampaigns%2f119498%2fRespond\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/trta.org\/action-center\/?vvsrc=%2fCampaigns%2f119498%2fRespond\">use this Action Alert to email their Texas Senators today<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>TRTA is still in positive discussions and is hoping to win the support of the Texas Senators.<\/p>\n<p>When calling the Texas Senators, please be courteous, time conscious, direct, and ask for their help and their vote.
