The meeting represented the first of its kind in the newly opened TRS building, now located on 4655 Mueller Blvd in Austin. According to TRS, starting on Sept. 1, 2025, participants can earn up to $599 annually when they see high-quality, low-cost providers. Nance served for as a board member for the last eight years, two years past his term, and is deeply appreciated for his excellent service and representation of TRS retirees during his term.<\/p>\n<p>The election for Mr. Nance position was held two years ago at the end of his term. The three candidates with the highest vote totals have been sent to Governor Greg Abbott and await his appointment.<\/p>\n<p><em>Executive Note From Tim Lee:<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Dick Nance is a remarkable leader and a dear friend.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>I have had the privilege of knowing him for many years, and we are all proud of the work he has done and the service he has given to TRS members during his time on the TRS Board of Trustees.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>TRS has faced some of its greatest challenges\u2014and celebrated some of its most significant achievements\u2014during Mr. Nance\u2019s tenure. Through both difficult times and major milestones, Dick consistently represented the interests of his fellow TRS retirees and all pre-retirees with integrity and commitment.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>We all owe Dick Nance a deep debt of gratitude.
