Every member has a story. TRTA & ME is here to tell it. That’s what makes this series so special: you get to know the people behind the membership.

“I have enjoyed reading all the different and unique stories in the TRTA & ME series because it truly speaks volumes about the dedication we put into everything we do. And we have a life outside of the classroom. This gives our members an opportunity to meet and learn about all members. We are truly a family of retirees with so much in common!”

— Terri Navrkal, TRTA State President-Elect

“It is exciting to see the variety of activities that our members are participating in during their retirement years.”

— Gary L. Schepf, TRTA State Vice-President

“What I enjoy most about working on TRTA & ME is getting to know the people behind the membership. Every story reminds me of the incredible purpose, service, advocacy, and energy that continue long after a career in education. I love having the opportunity to listen to our members, learn what matters most to them, and share the experiences that make each person unique.”

Now, we want to hear from you!

Tell us about your life in retirement, the things you’re passionate about, your involvement in your community, your TRTA experience, or the people and activities that make your life meaningful.
