WHAT IS KARE?
KARE (Klein Association of Retired Employees) is a Local Unit under District 4 of the Texas Retired Teachers Association (TRTA). The Association’s goal is to promote the professional, economic, intellectual and social well-being of anyone who is a retired employee of any Texas school district. We also support TRTA in their legislative efforts for the improvement of the lives for all retirees. TRTA is the only statewide organization that works exclusively for public school and higher education retired personnel. Spouses are eligible to join, too.
