Join the Texas Retired Teachers Foundation (TRTF) this spring as it launches its first ever Virtual Walk Fundraiser! Between April 3 and June 30, participants can decide when and where they want to walk, based on what is convenient for them.
All donations from this fundraiser will support TRTF’s mission to provide resources for retired TRS annuitants, as well as active and beginning teachers! Participants can donate using a flat amount (for example, $25) or choose to raise funds based on how far they want to walk (for example, donating $5 per half-mile). This decision will be left entirely up to the participant(s)! We encourage you to be creative and have fun!
TRTA Districts and Local Chapters are encouraged to walk together as teams! Local businesses and organizations are encouraged to participate as well, or to sponsor Districts, Local Chapters, or individuals in an effort to raise more funds. Please consider encouraging family and friends to walk with you!
