Members of the Texas Retired Teachers Association (TRTA), the day has finally arrived! Election Day is here, and if you have not made your way to the polls to cast your vote, please do so today!
Be sure to share your “I Voted!” photos with us in the comments section of this Facebook post.
The 89th Legislative Session begins in January, and it’s important for our members to make their voices known. The Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) is always on the agenda.
While TRTA cannot predict what legislation will be filed, we can assure you that we will be at the Texas Capitol every single day, working to protect and improve your retirement benefits!
Elected officials will begin filing legislation as soon as November 11! Don’t sit on the sidelines! Vote, and be ready to work alongside TRTA as we head full speed into 2025!
