TRTA is kicking off its comprehensive effort to ensure eligible TRS annuitants receive the cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) percentages passed in Senate Bill 10 during the regular 88th Sesión Legislativa.
As our members may recall, a constitutional amendment must pass in the November 2023 General Election to ensure that the funding for the COLAs is authorized. The amendment must pass for the COLAs to become effective in January 2024. You can read more about the COLA en este enlace.
