Boots and Books: Event Details
Boots & Books: An Unforgettable Night Celebrating Educators and Military Veterans will take place at the inspiring National Medal of Honor Museum. This memorable evening will honor the service and achievements of both educators and military veterans—two groups whose dedication strengthens our communities and our nation.
The event begins at 6 p.m. and will feature:
- A special performance by Broadway’s David Gaschen (Phantom of the Opera)
- A stirring performance by The Vocal Majority
- A featured guest appearance by Pete Sousa, play-by-play announcer for ESPN
- A silent auction
- Heavy hors d’oeuvres
- Full access to tour the museum
All TRTA members are invited to attend. Members receive a discounted ticket price of $75, while general admission is $150. Business attire is recommended.
All proceeds from the evening will benefit the Texas Retired Teachers Foundation and its charitable programs supporting both retired and active educators.
