At this time of year, we like to reflect on the great things we have accomplished together and show our appreciation to our members, friends, and supporters, all of whom are special to us!
The Texas Retired Teachers Association (TRTA) Board of Directors and the Texas Retired Teachers Foundation (TRTF) Board of Trustees are so very thankful for the time you spend volunteering for TRTA and the donations you make that help fund TRTF’s many charitable programs.
How the Foundation is Helping Others
TRTF is committed to its mission of providing resources for retired TRS annuitants, as well as active school personnel. TRTF has given more than $285,000 to retirees in critical need, $398,000 to beginning and active educators, and more than $471,000 to retired and active public-school personnel recovering from widespread disasters.
Movie Writer/Producer James Hart Makes Appeal on Behalf of TRTF!
Movie Writer/Producer James Hart, who also happens to be a close friend of a TRTA member, was so moved by the work TRTF is doing to help educators of the past, present and future that he offered to record this heartfelt video.
