PIFS Hearing

Members of the Texas Retired Teachers Association (TRTA) may be interested in viewing the PIFS meeting online, as the committee is scheduled to discuss the implementation of Senate Bill 10, which passed during the 88th Legislative Session.

As TRTA members may recall, SB 10 was the legislation that passed which provided for a cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) and supplemental payment for several hundred thousand TRS retirees. TRTA Executive Director Tim Lee will provide testimony during the hearing about the impact of SB 10 on retirees across the state.
