On Wednesday, October 28, at 2 p.m. (CDT) the Texas Retired Teachers Foundation (TRTF) will be unveiling its most ambitious project to date. It’s a program that we believe may change the landscape of public education in Texas! The program is focused on helping retired educators, active teachers, and Texans with children in public schools. You won’t want to miss this announcement!
Tim Lee, TRTF’s State Coordinator, will be presenting the program on Facebook and YouTube. If you’re interested in watching on Facebook, click here. If you’re interested in watching on YouTube, click here. If you miss the live announcement, we will have a recorded version available too!
We are excited to share this game-changing program with you, and we look forward to seeing support across Texas to make this program as successful as possible.
TRTF is a 501(c)3 charitable organization aimed at improving the lives of educators past, present, and future, and TRTF already manages several charitable programs: “A Helping Hand,” the Disaster Relief Fund, Classroom Assistance Grants, and Beginning Teacher Scholarships. Additionally, TRTF supports the Lehr–Pritchard Endowment Fund to provide long–term revenue for “A Helping Hand.”
As of October, TRTF has distributed $585,000 to educators of the past, present, and future all across Texas since 2008!
November will serve as TRTF’s Foundation Month, which is a charitable time for giving to the organization. Donate to TRTF today, and we look forward to seeing you Oct. 28 for the big announcement!
