Mark your calendars for one week from today! Tim Lee, the Texas Retired Teachers Association’s (TRTA) Executive Director, will continue his series of Facebook and YouTube live events next Tuesday, September 12, at 4 p.m. CDT.
The series focuses on passing Proposition 9, related to a cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) for eligible Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) annuitants in the November General Election. You can read details about the proposed COLA at this link.
September 12 will also officially kick off TRTA’s “Vote for Prop 9” Campaign! We hope our members will watch this important and exciting event! TRTA will also share the video via the Inside Line later next week for those who are unable to watch live.

The series will continue on the second Tuesday each month leading up to the November election on November 7, 2023.
