Tim Lee Travel Schedule | Fall 2024
The rest of the story: With more than twenty years representing the interests of dedicated retired school personnel in Texas, Tim offers valuable insights into relationship building with legislators, methods of communicating important political policies and goals, and facts about the Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) pension trust fund that are helpful and compelling. He is also an expert on the work to repeal the federal Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP) and the Government Pension Offset (GPO).
We encourage members to attend these sessions and bring a fellow TRS retiree who is not yet a TRTA member. “I love TRTA, and I want more people involved in our work and our mission,” said Lee when asked about the upcoming speaking schedule.
Tim added, “at TRTA we often say that we have fun, work hard, and win big! Well, that’s who we are, and we want and need more TRS retirees to be involved in this amazing organization. Please come and be a part of this special fall schedule!”
Chapter or districts wishing to request Tim Lee for a speaking engagement may fill out the request form online here.
