This week’s show will preview TRTA’s testimony for the upcoming Texas Senate Finance Committee meeting. Lee will also answer chat’s questions regarding the WEP (Windfall Elimination Provision) and GPO (Government Pension Offset). Additionally, Lee will address SB 2, the school voucher bill and its reported impact on the Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS).
The Senate Finance Committee will meet on Monday, February 10 at 10 a.m. Members will also be able to watch the live broadcast of that meeting here.
