The newest edition of THE VOICE is on its way to Texas Retired Teachers Association (TRTA) members’ mailboxes. It’s a very special edition of the quarterly news bulletin. THE VOICE will feature TRTA’s Red Letter campaign. The Red Letter campaign is a mail-driven initiative aimed at contacting Texas legislators.
Tim Lee, TRTA’s Executive Director, will be doing an “unboxing” of THE VOICE this Thursday, March 11, at 1:30 p.m. The video will be streamed to TRTA’s Facebook page and YouTube page. He will be going over the contents of the news bulletin, and he will walk viewers through how to complete the letters. If you miss the live stream, it will be recorded under TRTA’s Facebook videos and YouTube videos.
Additionally, Lee will be covering the very exciting Zoom to the Capitol! This will be your opportunity to connect with legislators on a face-to-face basis over Zoom. The Zoom to the Capitol will be taking place on April 5-8, and you can RSVP for the event here.
